Long before she ever began traveling, Reader Duck could usually be found with her beak buried in a book. She loved stories about faraway places, daring adventures, strange creatures, hidden mysteries, and people who saw the world a little differently. Every new book made the world feel bigger—and made her wonder what might be waiting beyond the next page.

At first, she was perfectly happy exploring from the comfort of her favorite reading spot. But the more stories she read, the more curious she became about the real world outside her books. Eventually, she realized that reading about adventures wasn’t enough. She wanted to have a few of her own.
